Supplies, leotards, tights, shoes, bags, etc. needed for class will be available for purchase at the studio.

Our children's programs teach the fundamentals of dance and proper technique, while also promoting poise, passion and encouraging a love of dance.

Our teachers are experienced and we respect kids. We know how to work with their abilities and developing bodies.

Planning Ahead?

We offer a variety of classes divided by age and skill levels; beginner through advanced levels. We start at age two, and offer classes for the child just beginning in dance.

Cheries Dance Studio offers classes in all styles of dance including hip hop, tap, ballet, pointe, jazz and much more. Lessons are for beginners through advanced dancers starting with ages two through teens. Our dance instructors work with students throughout the Cedar Rapids metro area including: Marion, Hiawatha, Robins, Center Point, Anamosa, and the Eastern Iowa Corridor.
